Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Google Flow Automator extension and its optional GFA Studio companion app.

1. Service description

The extension provides automation tools for Google Flow, including prompt queueing, automated submission, optional download utilities, and a protected handoff to GFA Studio. Studio is an optional companion app for locally preparing and editing projects, narration, captions, media and exports.

2. Eligibility and account

You must use the extension in compliance with applicable law and the terms of Chrome, Google Flow, Firebase, and related services.

3. Acceptable use

GFA Studio is a local creative tool. In the core local workflow, GFA does not receive, store, review or host your project files, prompts, images, videos, narration, or rendered outputs. Content leaves your computer only when you deliberately use a connected cloud provider, send feedback or diagnostics, export or share files, or another clearly disclosed feature requires it.

You are solely responsible for the content you import, generate, and publish and for obtaining all necessary rights, permissions, and consent.

• No illegal, abusive, or fraudulent activity
• No non-consensual, exploitative, harassing, or abusive content
• No deceptive impersonation intended to cause harm
• No sexual content involving minors or age-ambiguous persons
• No attempts to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse integrations
• No automation patterns that violate third-party platform terms

Reported abuse may result in suspension and, where legally required, referral to the appropriate authority.

4. Feature gating and access

Some features require Google/Firebase sign-in and an eligible membership. Studio launch and protected operations may require a current server-issued access lease. Access rules may change over time in accordance with the applicable plan and product notices.

Sponsorships are voluntary contributions. Premium features may be enabled as a token of appreciation for your support. Premium entitlement may vary by plan and is subject to active eligibility. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue any premium feature or the extension itself at any time without prior notice, including due to model availability, third-party API changes, platform policy updates, or security reasons.

4.1 GFA Studio access during the beta

Your membership is a licence for the Google Flow Automator extension. GFA Studio is a benefit included during the beta period and is not a separate purchase. During the beta, an active Pro membership includes access to GFA Studio at no additional cost.

If you hold an active Pro membership while the beta is open, GFA Studio remains included for as long as that membership stays continuously active — including after GFA Studio becomes a separately paid product. We have not yet set the price of GFA Studio as a standalone product; members who joined during the beta and maintained their membership will not be charged extra for it.

If you cancel your membership, this included access ends with it. Should you subscribe again afterwards, the terms and pricing in effect at that time will apply; the beta benefit is not restored on re-subscription.

A failed payment is not treated as a cancellation. While a payment is being retried by the payment provider, and for a short grace period after the billing period ends, your access continues.

We will announce the end of the beta period at least 30 days in advance.

5. Third-party services

The products depend on third-party services including Google Flow, Chrome, Firebase, optional AI/voice providers selected by you, and, only after analytics opt-in, Google Analytics acting as our measurement processor. Availability may be affected by those services and their own terms.

All financial transactions are processed by selected external third-party platforms (for example Buy Me a Coffee, or equivalent), not by the extension itself. We are not responsible for payment disputes, authorization issues, transaction errors, refunds, card or account issues, or security incidents occurring on external payment providers. Please review the provider's own terms and privacy notices for payment-related rights and responsibilities.

6. Privacy and analytics choice

Use of the products is subject to our Privacy Policy. Studio usage counting is optional and off by default. If enabled in Settings, Studio deliberately supplies an installation event after the first successful opt-in and an active heartbeat when Studio starts and about once every 10 minutes while it remains open, using a random, locally stored pseudonymous counting identifier. Google Analytics also processes automatic web-tag records and inherent browser/network signals as described in the Privacy Policy. Extension activity is not measured and consent may be withdrawn at any time.

7. Beta service and warranties

GFA Studio is currently a beta companion and may change or contain errors. Keep independent backups and review generated material before publishing it. To the extent permitted by law, the products are provided as-is and as-available without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees.

System requirements. GFA Studio requires Windows 10 or Windows 11. There is no macOS build in this release. A full installation, including the optional local AI and captioning models, needs approximately 5 GB of disk space; those models can be declined during setup and installed later from Settings.

8. Refund policy

Because premium access is delivered for a digital service and sponsorships are support-based, all contributions are non-refundable after premium features are activated or a license has been issued. If a technical provisioning issue occurs before activation, we can review the case and, at our discretion, provide manual correction or adjustment.

As described in section 4.1, GFA Studio is an included benefit of an extension membership during the beta rather than a separate product. Refunds are therefore not offered on the basis of GFA Studio's functionality, availability or suitability, including where Studio does not meet your expectations or does not run on your hardware.

You may cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation stops future billing and ends included Studio access from the end of the current period. If something has genuinely gone wrong, please contact us through the support page before raising a payment dispute so that we can review it directly.

9. Intellectual property and feedback

The Google Flow Automator extension, Studio client, related templates, and trademarks remain our property unless otherwise stated. You retain ownership of your project files and media.

Optional feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are welcome and may be used to improve the service. If you submit such feedback without requesting confidentiality, we may use it without identifying you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. To the fullest extent allowed by law, total liability for any claim arising from the product is limited to the amount you paid for the most recent support contribution during the 30 days prior to the claim, and in any case not more than the maximum permitted by law. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, or losses caused by your misuse of the service, breach of terms, or submission of unlawful or infringing content.

11. Data, compliance, and service scope

This service includes optional cloud integrations and optional local AI workflows. You are responsible for following provider terms when enabling cloud APIs or uploading any content not owned by you. Data handling, analytics behavior, and local/remote processing methods are described in the Privacy Policy and may be updated over time.

If you access the extension or Studio from any jurisdiction where such terms are invalid or unenforceable, those sections may not apply. No right is waived except where expressly required, and the remaining valid terms still apply.
